Digital BW, The Print

Last night, I tried to install QTR v2.0beta8 onto a 600mhz iBook running OSX 
v10.2.6.  As instructed, I first downloaded and installed, in order, ESPGS 
v7.05.6 and gimp-print-4.2.5-0.  I ran the gimp-print installer with my Epson 
2200 connected to the iBook via the USB port, as instructed by the gimp-print 
installer.

When I try to install QTR, the installer runs to the very end, pauses, then 
gives the message:  "There were errors installing the software.  Please try 
installing again."  I restarted the iBook and tried twice again, each time with 
the same result.

Suggestions?  All help greatly appreciated.
