Digital BW, The Print

I am using an Epson 1200 and am having great difficulty with the 
paper feeder.  I have tried unsucessfully using light weight paper as 
well as heavier stock.  And of course i have changed the position of 
the flip arm on the printer to accomodate the different weights.  I 
even have a problem with feeding ordinary injet paper.  Any 
suggestions short of pushing in the paper by hand (which is what I am 
doing now with minor sucess) would be appreciated.
