Digital BW, The Print

Hey gang,

after feeling a great deal of empathy for Julian's walk on the wild 
side and then enjoying all the responses he got, I have started to 
work on my print for the Exchange again. 
My plan was to use LPM and the mid-warm curve with MIS-VM through an 
Epson 1160. My image is showing blocky/posterized shadow transitions 
when compared to the same print made with my PiezoBW setup (also an 
1160). Actually, using EAM is also a bit blocky in the shadows, but 
not as bad as on LPM. 
I have the curves supplied via the MIS Web site, are these the 
latest? I was hoping to avoid producing a different transfer 
function for every print. Any advice would be appreciated.

By the way, the Exchange is fully subscribed again and I hope to 
have all prints in house and start compiling in one week. The work I 
already have is incredible and the variety and creativity is 
humbling.
