Digital BW, The Print

So...as the smoke clears, I resist the temptations of Epson's 
upcoming 4000 and contemplate replacing my faithful 1270 
(possibly for sale, cheap; inquire via e-mail if interested) with a 
2200. But for the moment, I think I'll want to keep my 1160 to 
work alongside the 2200, at least for a while (hmm...some would 
say to keep the 1270 and sell the 1160, but...), since I seem to 
have the quad thing more or less down with that printer. But I'm 
curious about the color *and* b/w possibilities with the 2200, 
along with the requisite frustrations that printer might also bring 
with it. (All this and a new film scanner, too - profile sessions 
ahead).

Has anyone managed to get a 2200 to even semi-successfully 
replace a former two-printer setup (assuming you print both 
color & b/w) without a ton of agony?  This inquiring mind would 
love to know by week's end.
