Digital BW, The Print

Hello All,

I have been shooting a lot of Portra 400 B&W (120) recently, and I agree with 
most people in this forum that it is a great film.

I am going to be placing a large film order, and I decided to try a few rolls of 
the Kodak T400CN.  It is about half the price of the Portra, and I thought I 
would see how it compares.

Is it just me, or are these two films virtually identical when scanned?

I have only shot a few rolls of the T400CN, but from my experiences it is 
virtually the same film.  Am I missing something?

Just so you know, I am scanning the film with an Imacon Photo and printing 
on an Epson 1270.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
