I am using the stock #59 grey cartridge.  willhelm just rated it at 73
years, so I wouldn't call it short-lived.  as long as it means that I'll
be dead before the prints fade, that's fine.  let my heirs deal with it
:)

Boris,

I like the HP dither pattern better than the Epson for BO prints.  What
ink 
are you using?  The standard HP inks are very short-lived.
