Digital BW, The Print

The curves for the MIS VM an UT inks are, generally, very printer specific.
The 870/1270 curves work on those 2 printers only because the 870 is just
the letter-size version of the 1270.  Aside from size, the drivers appear to
be the same.

So, I do not recommend use of the VM or Ultra Tone inks with a printer that
is not supported with curves that are just for the particular printer you
plan on using.

 I have a epson stylus photo 780 printer and I am trying to print out
B&W photo with MIS VM inksets. I made a B&W print on Epson
Heavyweight Matte paper by following intruction with curves ( epson
870/1270, 870/1270 no color adjustments, epson 890/1280) but prints
turned out with weird color. Warm and cool tone inks(brown and blue I
guess) outstand too much, so entire pictures look murky. This is
because of curves only work for 870/1270 or Archival epson paper?
