It's the most reasonably priced inkset available for the 2200, it's well supported on this list and I can't really see that it has any disadvantage compared to any other inkset. > True, but if I recall, the photo black is still being worked > out for glossy papers. Bronzing remains a problem with any of the inksets and papers available. I much prefer the look of coated matte prints for really deep blacks, although that introduces its own set of problems (dust, uneven coating). A Mayer Rod is on my shopping list for the near future. > What are you using? I'm using the Ultratones with custom curves and the Epson driver. > Oh yeah, I seem to remember someone selling an empty CIS for > the 2200, but I couldn't find the link. Does that sound familiar? I've seen several CIS options for the 2200, but all of them were pre-filled. Seems like there's still no virgin empties available for the 2200. You can clean and refill Epson carts though, it's not that hard. I wouldn't use a CIS myself. I want to be able to easily switch between color and BW. -- Daniel Staver http://daniel.staver.no
