I would check and make sure any third party plug-ins, etc that worked 
in PS7 worked in PSCS. Save any actions, etc. then you can deep six 7. 
Do you need PS7 in OS9 for printing or something? Otherwise I would 
remove that also.

Interesting, no product activation for Mac PSCS? Have you tried to 
install (and run) it on another computer? I thought it sends out a blip 
to Adobe every time you launch to verify computer/software marriage :)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
