Digital BW, The Print

I have emailed MIS about this, but not received a response yet and want to get cracking with converting a 1200 to BW. 

So ... does anyone know if the 1200 FS refill kit is the Epson or Cone driver inkset? I can't see any statement on the refill-kit page to say which it is, although on the cartridge page, it clearly states that the cartridges are only for the Cone Driver.

If anyone can tell me, I'd be most appreciative.

I've got a FS print that impresses me and, not having seen a VM print, would probably go for the FS. In theory, I would imagine that the FS should offer slightly better quality as it has five tones of grey, whereas the VM has four tones plus toner.

Any advice for this nervously intrepid newbie would be most gratefully appreciated.
