Rocco Rocco, you might want to wait a little while, because Epson has released a new scanner that has been selling in Japan since the middle of last month. Over there it is called the GT-X700 and it has some amazing features that are a major leap over the current 3200. It has: 4800 dpi, 3.8 bit depth, ICE, new optical head, color restoration, will handle two 4X5 transparencys at one time, and when you roughly translate the yen price it comes to about $400 U.S.. You probably can't read the Japanese at the following site, but you can get a lot from the photos. http://www.i-love-epson.co.jp/products/scanner/gtx700/x7001.htm I would guess that it will be in the states fairly soon. ~jerry
