I have been through the postings here on improving B&W on the 2200, but I can't seem to get many things straight--so I think I am missing some essential piece of information. MIS has come out with a set of B&W cartridges for the 2200--but there is no "workflow" or "curves" or something that is supposed to go with them if you are running a PC. I called them about it and they said that they are still working on them, but I could make my own. How do I do that? It seems that something has to tell the printer which cartriges to use and how much of each--and that does not seem very feasible for me to do (since I haven't a clue). Is there some easily understandable way to do this? Also, someone sent me some ICC profiles. I always print with no color management set in the driver. Are these profiles of any use in that case? The answers to these are probably obvious, but from my reading here, I have only gotten more confused!
