RE: [Digital BW] MIS UT set for 2200

2003-11-26 by Paul Roark

The UT inkset for the 2200 you describe might be the one I worked up for the
Bowhaus software. I'm not going to follow up on that approach.

I call my current effort "UT-2." Once I get it where I want it for the
1280, I'll probably recommend it be tried on the 2200 (with the 4000 being
my real target). "UT-2" is the evolution of the "Dual-7" inkset I
demonstrated before -- 2 toners, grayscale printing from any application for
medium tones, very simple, default setting for novices, but full sepia and
other controls for the experienced printers. (This will not replace the
current UT inkset, which will be needed for older printers.)

Subject: [Digital BW] MIS UT set for 2200

MIS is selling a UT set for the 2200 with a cold and a warm toner, 3
greys and 1 black. This sounds very interesting.
Does anyone have expiriences with this?
