That depends on the eye & how good it is. I have two 1160's, one running FSN
Piezo & the other MIS Perpetual color (Eboni), & a 1280 also with MIS
Perpetual (Eboni). You would think it easy to distinguish the six-color
prints from the four-color, but for me, I need a strong magnifier to see the
coarser 1160 dither.

> 2. Will the 1290 be more prone to head clogging when printing at

No. My 1280 seems to do more frequent auto head cleaning cycles during print
runs, & is less prone to clogging than my 1160's.
