It is...until you pay for it yourself.

Right now I'm shooting 6x9 negative film. I think it's about $11 for a 
roll of 220 and $7 for process only, no prints. That's a little over a 
dollar per frame (16/roll).

If I really have to bracket, I will, but as Jack Benny once said: "I'm 
thinking, I'm thinking"
