You probably are right about these points. I would be ok with HP's papers, and I like the idea of getting a new printhead with every new ink cartridge. That would make the higher price worthwhile for me. I have no interest in "tinkering" with the system, which many Epson ownere seem to do (no criticism intended--have fun).
