RE: [Digital BW] MIS VM printing

It sounds like the settings or curves are off. If there is no ready-made
curve that works, tweaking a curve may be necessary. (UT-2 and the Epson
driver are meant to take care of these problems.)

Subject: [Digital BW] MIS VM printing

I recently printed a b& w image using the standard Epson ink to
compare with the MIS VM inks. This was my first attempt. The image
I chose is of a person with the face slightly out of focus. The
Epson ink worked well, the image looks great. However, when I used
VM with Paul Roark's warm and medium warm cures, the out of focus
area became slightly polarized. The area had a definite "digital
like" effect. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
