John, I'm a big fan of old French photographers like Atget, Nadar and
Carjat.  Don't know Bulloz, but a Google search brought up a lot.  Try:

Most of the sites are in French or Italian, and a lot of the images that
come up are from the J.E.Bulloz collection.  Perhaps he was a collector?

Did you try Google.com?
