Re: [Digital BW] Speaking of French B&W Photographers.....OT

2003-12-03 by John Stacy

It looks like he was a photographer of artworks; paintings, statues, etc. Hung out with some real greats too, such as Rodin.

I'm just trying to dig up as much as possible. I'd like to do some prints from his old B&W glass transparencies, but I guess I'd need a release from his sucessors??? Or has his "copyright" run out??

Thanks for the info!!! Every bit helps!!

John

John, I'm a big fan of old French photographers like Atget, Nadar and
Carjat. Don't know Bulloz, but a Google search brought up a lot. Try:

  http://www.gordonsart.com/artstore/home.asp

Most of the sites are in French or Italian, and a lot of the images that
come up are from the J.E.Bulloz collection. Perhaps he was a collector?

  Did you try Google.com?
