Re: [Digital BW] asking for help to choose a system

I think you will like the CIS. Almost all of the problems and issues I had
with the Cone system went away when I used Cone inks, software and the CIS.
2200 prints that I have seen, even with ImagePrint, doesn't measure to the
prints from my 1280.

Subject: [Digital BW] asking for help to choose a system

Dear friends:

I am not a professional photographer, though this
is one of the activities that makes me happy. I
want to buy a bw system. I have been trying
septone with cartridges, and the results are far
from being excellent. They tell me that all my
problems will be solved with a CIS, and I want to
believe it. For now, I am not able to choose
between these two possibilities:

Buying an epson 1280 and the Cone piezography system (CIS)

or

Buying a new epson 2200 with the septone CIS.

I would like very much any piece of help in this difficult choice.

Thank you very much indeed
J
