Digital BW, The Print

Sorry to "clog" this forum with novice questions... Is it advisable, for a novice like me, 
to use QTR 2.0 with the UT inks and the 1280? Am I going to see improvements in 
the flat spots and other disturbing parts of the picture? Am I going to have easier 
acces to different kind of papers?
