Thanks for the replys, Well as to what type of banding I don't know. Wasn't sure I should refer to this as banding. I did a cleaning cycle, 2 cleaning cycles really just cause I never had with a nozzle check after each just about 8 5x7s before I got to these smaller prints. The 5x7s were fine in all tones. No signs of the banding and one imabe has a large expanse of nearly blank sky. Zero banding. So Microbanding is cured by cleaning? Would Ebony for some reason make the banding more obvious than if I were using Matt black? What about Dither banding? tobight I'm going back to the same print after a nozzle check and clean. Than I'l try it larger and see if it is all down to the size. I'm also wondering if I should tale the print resolution in the Image size window down lower than 240ppi. It almost looks like I'm trying to cram too much into too little space. Thanks Neil
