Digital BW, The Print

I understand that it is trouble to mount an inkjet print with the ink 
pressing directly against the glass or other glazing.   But what if you cover the 
print first with 3 coats of the PremierArt spray?   Any thoughts?   I'd like to 
mount some prints in simple clip frames, without mattes.   If I coat first, can 
I display them unmatted in clip frames without concern?
