  Thanks for the reply.

  I just tried all different paper settings with & without margins and still nothing. I also tried printing with the output mode set to "QuadTone RIP" without any curves loaded......curve 1 and 2 set to none and the printer actually printed. Not sure what that tells me but I think my curves must be the culprit. For the life of me I can't figure out what the problem is. 

  I'll keep plugging away.

  I had that same problem on my 1160. I think the answer was to not use a 
  custom paper size. Either that, or make a custom paper size with 
  margins equal to zero and save that paper size in print center.

  I think it's a bug in the OSx print center.
