2. I've tried Eboni with all seven inks. I don't remember the color
balance noticably different, but it's a long time since I tried, and I
didn't test carefully. I think the light black ink is much more
important for overall color balance - it kicks in very early, is much
warmer than the black ink and is used in the entire image.
4. Does the 4000 use the same cartridges as the 9600? In that case they
already exist, if not it could take some time... It took more than six
months before MIS had 9600 compatible cartridges, and almost a year for
the 2200 cartridges. QTR for the 4000 would probably be well worth
investigating, and if I remember correctly Roy has one on order for
himself so developer support will probably be very good :)
