I've tried Eboni BO on PermaJet Oyster 271 (sem-matte RC) and yes, it will rub off. However, if it is coated with PremierArt PrintShield there is no problem with rub-off. Downside is it will take about 4-5 coats to diminish the gloss differential in shadow areas. Dmax of the Eboni on Oyster was 1.51 before spraying with PrintShield and 2.16 afterwards. For comparison, the Ultrachrome PK ink gave a dmax of 2.12 before spraying and 2.50 afterwards. You could get by with fewer coats using a gloss varnish like Krylon Kamar varnish, but it is more difficult to get an even coat with this product. The PrintShield gives a very nice, even coating and the prints look great, but I'm investigating other less expensive products to cut costs. Carl Schofield
