Andre, Dither patterns, etc., are very different with the IP driver when compared to the standard Epson driver. Personally, I much prefer the IP driver. The driver, obviously, is your interface to the printer for laying down the physical dots; a custom paper profile objectively maps exactly how your printer responds to known color values.
