Ed - You might want to check the archives for my posts regarding Septone. To sum up... I haven't done archival testing, but have printed on a variety of papers and found the color consistency (very little if any variation through the tonal scale) and maxD to be excellent. The interface looks simple, but is in fact a bit like landing a single engine Cessna on an aircraft carrier during a hurricane. In other words, the sliders do more than their titles indicate, and it takes some experience before you grease your landings... but it's worth the practice time. ________________________________________________________________ Never respond to spam, even to "unsubscribe." I ordered the sample too, and it was very nice. And there was excitement here at first, and then reports of problems. Where does it stand now? [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
