I strongly disagree, and believe that the best B&W images one can get is to shoot MF (Medium Format, my preference being Hasselblad) using specific films (My preference being Tri-X and Plus-X), developed in a particular way (D-76 1:1), and scanned in grayscale (not RGB ;-) and printed them using Piezo...
