A) It slows down file opening. It may slow down other operations as well.

B) It sounds like the pattern recognition isn't precise enough only to
recognize and reject clear high-res images of actual money, but will also
reject images that couldn't possibly be fobbed off as money. For instance,
can it open an image of a $20 bill with Daffy Duck's portrait in it? It may
very well not.
