How does PS distinguish between authorized and unauthorized processing
of banknote images?

A feature like this isn't necessarily a big deal, as long as it never
produces a false positive, in which case Adobe would be liable for any
losses it might cause.  However, if it requires additional processor
time to scan and analyze every image upon opening it, then it is reason
enough not to buy the product.

Clearly, I need to put my CD of Photoshop 5.x in a safe, since I'll
probably never find a usable version of PS again.
