Digital BW, The Print

I ordered and eventually received my piezography inks, however 
the rest of the kit, software, icc profiles, etc. seem to be promised 
for some time in the unspecified future. Out of frustration I tried a 
workflow that appeared on the MIS site, one not specifically for 
this ink set. It was great on one print and awful on another. Does 
anyone know of a workflow that will perform well with this inkset, 
so I can get some use out of it while I wait for the stuff from 
Cone?

I'm using my old Epson 1200 so it's a hextone. 

By the way, I'm experiencing a fair amount of clogging. I think I've 
used more ink in the cleaning process than in printing. Is this 
typical?
