Has anyone else noticed / wondered why the vent holes on the MIS pre - filled and Virgin carts for the 1280 are at the "wrong" end? Meaning, they are on the opposite end than on the Epson OEM carts. In this configuration I have wondered if the vent holes are being partially obstructed by the spring clamps on the underside of the cartridge lids inside the printer that hold the carts in place. If the clamps obstruct air flow in any way in could effect ink flow. Hence, potential nozzle check problems, banding.. etc. My guess this is the main reason why Epson puts the vents at the other end of the carts. -Jeff
