Digital BW, The Print

I'm having trouble getting this message through to the group, so I'll try
again.  Has anyone used the MIS UT eboni K ink with the VT inkset and Paul's
curves.  I'm running out of the Enhanced Generations Micro-Bright K that I
have been using and I'm intending to switch to the MIS UT inks when the
other tones run out.  So, it would be great if I could just use the eboni
along with my VT until they run out, therefore avoiding the purchase of
Enhanced Generations that I will not be using soon.  I can't see why it
won't work but the MIS lady tells me I should not do it.  Can anyone think
of a good reason I should not try this, or better yet has anyone tried it
already.  I'm using a 1160 to do my B&W with.  Thanks for the feedback.
