You need 2K or XP. You can probably find 2K cheap, and you may also find
that it's less of a shock to the system. (Your mental system, not your
computer.) They're both much cleaner, stable OSes, especially if you convert
your disk to NTFS. Unless you have some need to support some stone-age DOS
software, you'll be glad you made the change.
