hi all, I've been out of the loop for many, many months due to health issues and so on. I've fired up my old 1160 with MIS sepia>neutral inkset in a cis system. It was quite a struggle with blocked tubes and head and so on... It's going ok again - I use Paul's orig. curves and Eclipse 190 Satine (is it still available ?) Anyway, I do need to buy more ink, as one or two of my bottles are almost empty, and I figure it's an opportunity for a change and a boost of quality, and since I've been away for so long the available printers, inks, curves and papers have most likely changed. My initial look at some posts shows that the mis UT ink is probably what I should order now. I figure I'd like to get refillable carts as the cis is quite a lot of work. Also I dont need the extreme warmth of the sepia>neutral set - I mostly never go beyond the warm curve. Please offer your opinions, and confirm that these inks are good to use on an old 1160, and also some pointers on purging this system & installing that one. Can the 1160 still hold it's own in a 'quality' comparison to newer printers ? And while I'm writing, I'd like to invite you to view my updated webpage at www.frankgross.com - let me know if you know of anyone that'll employ me ...... :-) thanks, Frank
