Yes, the UT is probably the one to use. It's as good as it gets in terms of light fastness. I have good curves for the UT and 1160. The MIS new, empty carts for the 1160 have always been of good quality. I've used them for several years. >...Can the 1160 still hold it's own in a 'quality' >comparison to newer printers? Not really; the 1280 is smoother, and the UT2 is more flexible. However, if you're printing medium warm or cool matte prints, and you're not the type who inspects the prints with a magnifying glass to see if there are dots, the 1160 is still an excellent choice.
