I've had flaking with several fine art-type papers, especially Hahnemuhle's Linen 150, Torchon 285, William Turner 300 and Moab's Entrada Fine Art 190 (an excellent paper, by the way). Because of that, I habitually wipe all paper with a clean cloth... without rubbing, but not necessarily "delicately." Since I've been doing that, I've been flake-free. Although I hadn't experienced flaking with Photo Rag 308 I wipe it anyway, but missed a few recently, and they printed just fine. Before I sent out my first print in a tube, a year ago, I put a 13X36 Photo Rag 308 print in a tube and tossed it out my second story window, then kicked it around the driveway a few times... no damage and no flaking. (My tubes are from yazoomills.com.) ________________________________________________________________ Never respond to spam, even to "unsubscribe." NEVER click links in email requesting personal info.
