RE: [Digital BW] Brilliant Paper

2004-02-24 by Robbe Gibson

I've used the Glossy in 8.5x11 and 24" rolls. It isn't as bright white
as Epson Glossy. 24" roll is on a 2" spool instead of 3", but it doesn't
seem to curl badly. We'll see how it is at the end of the roll. They
use a sticky tape to tie the roll and you lose about a foot and a half
of paper because of the residue the tape leaves.

Monochrome prints well. I'm using 7600UC with Colorburst and their
grayscale profile for Epson Glossy.

The sheet packs are priced well. The rolls are not even 10% less than
Epson.

Anyone tried the new Brilliant ink jet paper? Did a search, and got
nary a hit. Also asked on the Imageprint forum, no dice there
either.
