Diego, >Yesterday, I got black and white inks for my epson c82 (easy black >and white from MIS), but the yellow, magenta and cyan positions look >identical. >I made ink swabs and they look identical. It is possible? The EZ C82 & C84 inks in the C, M & Y positions are identical. The chips, unfortunately, have position information that requires that the carts be put in the correct positions -- at first. Once they have been used a bit, the location information seems to get removed, so the carts can be put into any color slot. There are 2 tones available -- neutral and warm. The warm is pure carbine. For a medium warm, use a few neutral and a warm cart. This gives you a fairly good range of tones. One ink tone issue remaining for me -- that I'll also ask at an upcoming Genealogy Society meeting speech -- is whether I should mix a sepia ink for the C82/84.
