The settings we have for the group put all new members on "Moderated" status
which means that their posts do not appear or go out to the group until the
message has been approved by a group moderator. The purpose for this set up
was to filter out spam. If the first post by a new member is on topic the
member's status is changed to "Can Post", their message is approved and they
can make all future posts with the messages requiring moderator approval.


In your case your first message may not have made it into the "Pending"
folder for some reason. Yahoo is free but not always very reliable. You
should not have any further problems posting but let me know if you do.
