I use MIS inks in a MIS CFS and frequently go a week, sometimes two between printing sessions and have no problems. I don't even bother to turn the printer off. Some have problems, I don't. It may be humidity related. I live in FL where the RH seldom gets below 50% in the winter with the heat running. MIS does have a free software package that prints a purge test every day to alleviate problems. But I know nothing about it. Just buy prefilled carts until you're sure you like the inkset. Leaving 3oz. of ink in a 4 oz. bottle and buying new CFS carts can get expensive. (But you WILL like the UT2, assume UT7 is the same) Bob Michaels --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "luisvcool" <lvictoria@t...> wrote: > I read on MIS's website that if you use a CFS system, you should make a print every day to > avoid problems with the CFS system.
