Digital BW, The Print

Reading via digest, delayed response, catch all.

Diamonds & forever...they started somewhere too, and if the 
jeweler/cutter is no good, then neither is the value of the diamond, 
pphhht ;-)

Dektol? Happen to really enjoy the alchemy of Amidol in our family, 
moves them chlorobromides all over that silver paper...

Printing a touch this weekend...Lyson inks all coming out warm (RGB 
mode), which I like & reminds me of early 20th Century prints 
(various things come to mind).  Just changing the driver makes it a 
better neutral if need be...however the SCREEN never looks like a 
platinum print even if it IS calibrated (will it?)

Archival...use the best you can.  There was a point where even 
selenium toning was not helping what was toned, despite it's 
popularity.

Looking forward to the next print exchange...worried I'll get left 
out by not reading all the posts! But want to get prints back from 
the one I just slipped in on first, so I know where the room for 
improvement lays.
