I am using MIS VM ink cartridges on a 1290 printer with your curves.  
I note from recent postings that you have some reservations re the 
1290 and UT2 inks and I would therefore be grateful if you would 
provide advice as follows:

Does this same inconsistency of print occur with the VM inks?

What advice do you have for switching to UT2 inks at this time?

Can the Ebony Black be used with existing VM `grey' inks, if so are 
there any adverse effects?
