Peter, As per your suggestion, I confirmed there were no partial blockages of the air inlets. Do you know if it is very easy to damage the print heads in the 2200? Nine out of ten times the bad nozzles are the Y position (I often lose the entire ink), and on the occaisions which another ink is involved, they come back on line immediately. The Y position, however, may take an entire day of rest to return. FWIW, this is the 25% Black dilution in my printer. Thank you for your response, James
