I've been wondering this myself. Here's what I've come up with based mostly on what people have written to several mailing lists: - Both EEM and Photo Rag provide a smooth matte surface, and well made prints can look great on either paper. - Wilhelm rates EEM at 110 years. Don't know with what inks but probably Epson Ultrachromes. - Don't know Wilhelm's longevity rating for Photo Rag. - Both papers have optical brighteners which will fade, making both papers turn slightly yellow with time. - The Photo Rag looks great but is highly vulnerable to surface abrasions. - EEM is thinner than Photo Rag but has a more rugged surface. - Some people have reported acute yellowing of Photo Rag when in contact with other, non-pure papers or packing tape. - Photo Rag costs six times as much as EEM. - I've had success making my own curves so obtaining profiles isn't an issue for me. What are other people's opinions about comparing EEM and Photo Rag? -- Victor Landweber At 10:55 AM 4/5/2004, spersky123 wrote: >Hello, > >I am getting up and running with the BO printing technique as >described by Clayton Jones.
