Maybe send two files through the driver/RIP? the normal RGB or Grayscale file and a second "Gloss Mask" file? It could be done with an alpha channel. Postscript as the file format is also an option. There are RIPs that already get an extra vector line image in the Postscript file to cut out the sticker circumferences in vinyl. Roland inkjets for example. Some RIPs can use spot color inks in one of the carts (Mimaki inkjets mostly), the color is selected then. Ernst
