It seems that i have been able to install QuandToneRIP under Mandrake Linux 9.2. Under CUPS WWW admin tool this driver is recognized and i can add a printer using this driver. This makes me lean toward epson 1280 or 1160. Still your comments and replies for my other inquiries is appreciated.
