Printing a stepwedge I can distinguish paper white from 2% ink and between 98% and 100% K. I have set up a PS grayscale working space of gamma 2.0. I find this gets me a good screen to print match. Of course you could go the other way and adjust dot gain in StudioPrint to match your PS gamma, but I was happy with the print contrast at 20% and so decided to bring the monitor in line. amadou diallo
