Well I'm home from work, the wife is in NYC at some schmooze thing for some books she edits. So time to print. Started off with HPR (heavy photo rag) in envelope mode normal top feed. All was well. But I only did 2 prints. Next tried single rear feed. Worked well and I even seemto get a more even spray of ink compared to the same print done earlier. This was as discussed on the list before . So maybe the printer paper combo likes the feed of the paper in the envelope mode in the single feed slot. Before I claim that single feed solves the uneven spray look I'll do some more. Also just for laughs I printed the HPR with the printer set to Velvet fine Art instead of EEM. Looks very good. Very slightly brighter, just a tad flatter, even ink spray and detail no less than EEM setting. This is something I'll try more often for just a very subtle change. So, so far slower single feed may just be all I needed. Neil
